Welcome, and thanks for stopping by.
Over the years, I've spent a lot of time writing and speaking about business, agriculture, taxes, and farm management. While those topics have been an important part of my career, they only tell part of the story. This website is an opportunity to share some of the other things that make life meaningful to me.
At its heart, this site is about farming, rural life, and the experiences that come with them. It's a place where I can share photos from the farm, stories from the field, observations from my travels, and thoughts that don't necessarily fit into a professional article or presentation.
I've always believed that some of life's best moments happen in places where very few people are watching. A sunrise over a wheat field. The satisfaction of a successful harvest. A long conversation over coffee with a friend. Watching the seasons change and being reminded that nature operates on its own timetable, regardless of how busy we think we are.
You'll find a little bit of everything here. Some posts may focus on farming and the land. Others may be about family, travel, history, photography, or lessons I've learned through the years. Occasionally, I'll share stories from my upbringing, reflections on how agriculture has changed, or memories that I simply don't want to lose to time.
This isn't meant to be a formal website or a business platform. Think of it more as a personal journal, photo album, and collection of observations from someone who has spent a lifetime connected to agriculture and rural communities.
Whether you're a longtime friend, a fellow farmer, a family member, or someone who simply enjoys life in the countryside, I hope you find something here that interests you.
Thank you for visiting, and I hope you'll check back often as I continue to add new stories, photos, and experiences.
